Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce
Many LBI busineses are members of the Chamber of Commerce, whose headquarters is located in Ship Bottom. The organization sponsors many popular events on Long Beach Island.
Water Quality and Beach Closure Reports
The Ocean County Health Department web site offers daily reports on the quality of the water in the ocean, bay and local rivers and lakes. You can also find a daily report listing which beaches in the area may be closed.
Tuckerton Seaport
An authentic working Seaport village on the mainland containing 30 re-created historical structures representing the various trades and crafts unique to the Barnegat Bay region.
Island Beach State Park
The island north of Long Beach Island is home to an undeveloped wonderland. The southern end of the island is home to a 10 mile long preserve with sand dunes and white sandy beaches that offers habitat to maritime plants and diverse wildlife.
