Apple Praline Pie Serves

Combine apples, sugar and spices. Put in pie shell. Bake at 400 for 15 min. Mix honey, brown sugar and butter. Bring to a boil. Add egg and nuts. Remove pie from oven and pour honey mix over top. Return to 400 oven 10 min. Then reduce heat to 325 and bake 25-30 min longer or until pie is set and apples are soft.

Chocolate Angel Pie Serves

Beat whites til foamy. Add cream of tartar and pinch salt and beat til softly peaked. Gradually add sugar and beat until very stiff. Fold in pecans and 1 tsp vanilla. Turn into buttered 9" pie plate and form shell, building sides 1/2" above edge. Bake 50-55 min. at 300; then cool. Place chocolate and coffee over low flame and stir til melted and smooth. Cool and stir in 1 tsp. vanilla. Fold in whipped cream and chocolate and turn into shell. Chill 2 hours.

Coconut Custard Pie Serves

Preheat oven to 375. Beat eggs in large bowl w electric mixer at medium speed until combined well. Beat in 3/4 c + 2 T sugar, milk, half-and-half, 1 tsp vanilla and salt, then stir in flaked coconut. Pour custard into pie shell and cover edge of pie w foil. Bake in middle of oven until custard is set 2" from edge, but still jiggles slightly in center, 30-40 min. Cool completely on rack, about 1.5 hours. Reduce temp to 350. Spread coconut shaving in shallow baking pan and bake in middle of oven, stirring once, until pale golden, about 5 min (watch carefully, it burns easily). Cool in pan on rack. Just before serving, beat cream w 2 T sugar and .25 tsp vanilla in a bowl w cleaned beaters at medium speed until it just hold soft peaks. Spread cream over pie and sprinkle w toasted coconut.

Daquiri Pie Serves

Beat yolks w condensed milk, lime juice, food coloring and rum. Fold in whites. Pour into baked graham cracker shell. Sprinkle w nutmeg and bake at 300 for 8 min. Chill.

Margarita Pie Serves

In small saucepan, melt butter. Stir in pretzel crumbs and sugar. Press on bottom and sides of buttered 9" pie plate. Chill. In medium bowl, combine all other ingredients except lime twists. Spoon into pie shell. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Garnish w lime twists.

Pumpkin Pie Serves

Mix brown sugar, spices, and salt. Add eggs. Add pumpkin. Stir in milk and evaporated milk. Pour into unbaked shell. Bake at 425 for 15 min and then at 350 for 45 min. (Can use 1 c sour cream in place of milk)

Preheat oven to 350. Combine pumpkin, 1/3 c brown sugar, 1 egg , evaporated mile, and spices. Stir well. Spread over bottom of shell. Bake35-40 min. Pie should be almost done. Combine strawberries, sugar, tapioca, salt and orange rind in large bowl. Let stand 20-25 minutes until sugar draws out some juice from berries. Heat oven to 425. Turn berries into lined pie pan; dot w butter. Fit top crust over pie. Press edges together. Bake 40-5- min until browned.
